Hi, Reading back over the answers I think it was John Styles who got Teds puppets.....From what his(Teds) widow said I had wondered.Perhaps John has the Bowls as well. Are you out there John Styles? Do you know where I can get some bowls ? As a juggler I can make the Chinamen look good.... because they are juggling between each other they look well coordinated and do impress the audience and keep the interest quite a while with their skill. I have been practicing with the plastic plates we use in Kids workshops but It still wont work in the Punch booth proscenium. In my Castello booth they are very successful tho.HOWEVER having moved with them into the castello booth I have resolved to do the old "cod" music hall act with the china plates using the chinamen. to be an interlude in a new glovepuppet show I am devising.I would still like to be able to put them in as an interlude in Punch tho. Any help will be apprecited. I didn't find the right solution from the Internet. Hi, I've seen a few threads on here about blade preference for Self Defense. It seems that Plain Edge is the professional's choice. For the reasons that it penetrates easier, punctures easier, and does not get caught on clothes as easily. It seems that most people will default and say to use what you feel comfortable with. I saw a different thread about how sharp a knife should be for self defense. How I remember that one ending was that if it can cut, it is sharp enough. There was discussion about getting cut with a very sharp knife and not knowing you were cut until it was too late. There was also mention that the sharper the knife is, the easier it is to injure yourself with a deep wound. There is also some talk about doing damage to someone and it not stopping them.I was thinking about these opinions and it made me think: Wouldn't the extreme pain caused from getting cut by a serrated edge be beneficial to someone defending themself? If I were to get cut and instead of a smooth slice, I was torn, I think the shock alone will render me ineffective for at least a moment. It will also force me to decide whether or not to go on. Hi, Just watching the 10 o'clock news on BBC1 and it would appear any strike on Syria by the US (+ UK and France) might lead to a 'strong response' from Russia. Even a Tory MP stating this could easily switch from a Cold War to a Hot War with Russia. For more details Corporate Marketing Examples
