Guard-n-Tip of the Week

July 20, 2017

Over the past few years, zero scaping has become the new trend in the Colorado region. This low maintenance style of gardening features desert climate plants such as cactus and aloe plants.

Desert family plants as are great to have inside your home. Here's a neat trick to help your agave and cactus plants grow taller!

Plant your cactus or agave plant in a small container or pot. Sounds simple, right? The smaller the plants potting surface, the smaller the roots. This means that the plant will be prone to growing upwards, instead of down in the ground. You will have more foliage and less root system.

Try it for your weekend gardening adventure!
